September Story Swap: The New Kid
When: Sunday, September 20 @ 4pm
Where: Church Lawn

You’re invited to our September Story Swap! This month our theme is “The New Kid.” You’ll have five minutes to regale us with your harrowing first day of middle school, the time your parents told you the family was about to get a little bit bigger, or the ups and downs of making a fresh start after a big move. We’ll meet on the church lawn at 4pm on September 20th. This event is outdoors and we will cancel if it rains. RSVP here: https://forms.gle/ivx5mE7j6k45Yj5s8

White Culture and Racial Identity Conversation
When: Sunday, September 27 @12:30pm
Where: Zoom
 Call

A small group of us at the church—Rick Rykowski, Ben Erickson, Samantha Antoine and Dave Paladino–wanted to give White people a place to become more aware of their feelings and reactions to the issues around race in the United States. We want to create a space for White folks where we can be a “work-in-progress,” seeking to grow in our own racial identity without the pressure to commit to a specific action, feel a certain way, or even agree with each other. We hope that our time together will help us all to love God and our neighbor more.

Our first meeting is scheduled for and will go for about an hour: Sunday, Sept 27 at 12:30pm. If you’d like to join this time, please fill out this simple form which asks for your name, email and phone:

Prayer and Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction is a one-on-one ministry which developed in the church during the 3rd century. Its primary goal is to help us hear God’s voice and perceive God’s action in our day-to-day life. Spiritual direction can help you identify and respond to how God is at work in your everyday life. To set up a meeting with a spiritual director, reach out to Rick Rykowski via his email.

For one on one prayer with one of our prayer ministers, email prayerteam@annarborvineyard.org with your name and phone number. Someone on our prayer team will give you a call.

The Blue Prayer Cards are back! We now have our blue prayer card online. Share your gratitude and prayer requests and the staff will continue to pray for you on Wednesdays.
