Cedar Point

(High School) Bring a friend along and pray for good weather! We are packing the vans and leaving for Cedar Point at 8am and returning at 11pm. Cost will be $55 per student, $45 if you bring a friend. Seats will be limited so register soon! Pack some food, bring cash for meals, or do both. Register by handing your money and permission slip to Nigel Berry.

Child's Clothing Drive

The Green Vineyard will be sposoring a Kid's Clothing Drive, bring clothing items for kids ages 0-5 that no longer fit, and take something that will fit your child this summer. Please bring cleaned items and sort them by size; tables will be set up according to size. Anything left over after the swap will be donated. Contact Brett Cosner with any questions.

Mystically Wired

Join the Mystically Wired team led by Pastor Ken as we explore and try out four methods of calming prayer. Expect a little instruction about each method, then time to try it out in the class. If you would like to sign-up for this class please contact Shonagh Chimbira.

HEAR

Join us on Saturday, June 15, from 10am-12pm for a class that explores what it means to hear God both for ourselves as well as for others, and includes teaching on healing prayer. The class includes time to practice listening in a safe atmosphere. Questions? Contact Pastor Emily

Church Picnic

Save the date! We will be adding more event details as we get closer to the event. The food for this event will be catered! If you would like to make a donation to help us defray the cost  please make a check out to the Vineyard and write "picnic" in the memo line.

Mission Outpost

As we prepare to launch our new internship program (visit missionoutpost.org to find out more about this exciting program), we are in need of housing for the interns we have accepted and for others who may be accepted in the future. Discipleship Class

Pastor Donnell will begin leading a Tuesday morning class from 9am - 11am for the Mission Outpost interns. He would like to open it up to any congregant who is interested in joining them. The class will use the books Fusion: Turning First-Time Guests into Fully-Engaged Members of Your Church and Beyond the First Visit: The Complete Guide to Connecting Guests with Your Church as the basis of discussion.You can do the reading and participate or just come and sit-in on the discussions. Stephen Ministry Training

The Ann Arbor Vineyard will join other local churches in offering training for Stephen Ministers beginning in October. Stephen Ministry provides supportive, comprehensive training for those interested in learning to care for others who are in crisis, grieving, or going through other stresses in life. Questions? Homeless Ministry

Attention everyone who volunteers, has volunteered, or wishes to volunteer with the Homeless Ministry, beginning Friday evening, April 19, the ministry will be leaving Liberty Plaza for its new home at the Ann Arbor Community Center parking lot. The time is the same and the mission is the same, to bring food and fellowship, hot and cold beverages, packed groceries, clothing, blankets, coats, hats, gloves, and other donated items to our homeless friends.
