Homeless Ministry 10 Year Anniversary

Please join the church in celebrating the 10th anniversary of the homeless ministry at services on Sunday, Sept. 25th, when the Mayor of Ann Arbor, Christopher Taylor, will present a proclamation to the church for 10 years of serving our disadvantaged friends with food, fellowship, and dignity. As a sign of your support, we ask that you bring bottles of water (which we give out every Friday night at the park) to the church that Sunday (we will have a pallet near the entry door). If you aren't able to do this, we will be glad to accept any financial gift you can give to the ministry at the volunteer table in the lobby. For questions and further information email the ministry at: homelessministries@annarborvineyard.org

Care Class

This fall we are launching a new class. Care is a six week course exploring how we, as seekers after Jesus, can care more effectively for those around us. At Vineyard, we aim to cultivate an atmosphere of care— to be a place where people can come and enter in regardless of what they are going through. If you are the kind of person who cares for those around you, and you are looking for more tools, resources, and support, or you are interested in learning and developing skills in listening, empathy, boundaries, and the use of spiritual resources in caring for those around you, this is wonderful opportunity.. Come for teaching, vibrant discussion, and times of prayer and reflection. Questions? Email Anna Hillaker today!

When: Beginning October 2 @ 9am
