In the Gap—Making a Real Difference Through Prayer

Most of us would agree that prayer is an important aspect of following Jesus. Yet few of us pray as much as we'd like to...especially for others. So why the disconnect? Perhaps we're not convinced that our prayers make any real difference—after all, God's going to fulfill His plans no matter what we do, right? Or perhaps we just don't know how or where to start. How do you pray for healing of individuals, for the restoration of families, for the establishment of peace & justice in communities? With a blend of teaching, discussion, & practice (yes, we will actually pray :), this class will help us to discover why prayer really is important & powerful, and to equip us to pray more effectively, so as to bring about real change in the world around us. Sign up online or at the events station on Sunday! Questions?  Contact Brad Wathen for more information.
