Swap 'n Shop

On Saturday, December 10th, bring a kid's toy or book in good condition and pick out a new one in exchange.  Swap 'n Shop will be hosted in the hardwood-floor area at the Vineyard Church of Ann Arbor (2275 Platt Rd. Ann Arbor). Wrap your gifts afterwards and enjoy hot chocolate with friends. Childcare is available. Here's a way to simplify and get-rid-of stuff you don't need, while finding a special gift for your child--without spending a dime! Left over items will be donated to children-in-need through House By The Side of the Road.

Shopping hours: 11:00-1:30 PMDrop off anytime in the bin near the front office or between 10:00 and 11:00 on December 10th.

Adopt a Child for Christmas

The holidays are a tough time for many of the families. When there is an opportunity to bring the joy and sense of belonging that is synonymous with the holidays to economically challenged families is incredibly uplifting. Our Men’s Ministry is partnering with Community Action Network to fill the wish list of 21 children. Please sign-up to adopt a child for $25 per gift, maximum up to $100. For more information, see Tyrone Kelsey and sign up at the table in the lobby after church today.

Women's Advent Retreat

Join the women of Vineyard on December 9 from 7-9pm, for a quiet evening of worship, celebration and fellowship at the home of Susan Hasselbach.  Please bring a snack to share, and a box of your favorite individually-wrapped tea!

Walking Through the Gospels with Jesus

Spend some time this fall learning to pray with Scripture in a meditative fashion. This course will take us through the gospels and connect us with aspects of Jesus' life which we may not normally connect with. This study will begin on Wednesday, October 26 and will run in perpetuity. Contact Rick Rykowski at for more information, or sign up at the event station.

Christmas Eve Donut Giveaway

It’s that time of year when we like to spread Christmas cheer! Come for our Christmas Eve service at 6:00pm. Then join us as we bless the Washtenaw area delivering 1300 Washtenaw Dairy donuts to anyone who is working. We have 100 locations all over the Washtenaw area including Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Dexter, and Saline. This is one of our favorite Christmas Eve traditions at the Ann Arbor Vineyard. Sign up online or contact Reggie Spaulding with any questions today!

The second way is to help us label the donut boxes and set-up before the Christmas Eve service and/or help us pass out donuts to congregants after the service. Contact Reggie Spaulding if you are interested in helping serve.

Baptism Sunday

We’ll be offering baptisms during the service on December 11th.  We encourage baptism as an important step in everyone’s discipleship journey, if you have any questions or concerns, send an e-mail to <mainoffice@annarborvineyard.org> to request a pastoral meeting.  Sign-ups for baptism are available at the events station or online.

Vineyard Cookie Exchange

Join us on Sunday, December 18th for a Cookie Exchange and holiday shopping immediately following the service in the cafe and gallery.  Bring two dozen cookies to exchange (plus one dozen extra to share if you would like).  Sign up is in the lobby and indicate what cookies you plan to bring and whether or not they are gluten free. Questions, contact the main office!

Homeless Rotating Shelter 2016

From Monday, Dec. 26 to Monday Jan. 1 (the week between Christmas and New Years), Vineyard will host overnight up to 25 men, who would otherwise be on the street. We need volunteers to take on six-hour shifts at the church from 7:30 at night to 1:30 in the morning and from 1:00 in the morning to 7:00 in the morning. We also need van drivers to pick up our guests in the evening at the Delonis Center and drop them off at St. Andrews for breakfast. Plus we need donations of snacks and beverages. Kashmir Craft Sale

Once again we are selling beautiful hand-painted papier-machet and hand-carved wooden crafts from Kashmir India. These make wonderful gifts and all proceeds help support Manzoor Haji, a Christian artisan and pastor in Kashmir, India. Items will be for sale each Sunday from Dec. 4–Dec 25.
