The Beloved Community
A small group and ministry devoted to the Holy Spirit's movement for racial/ethnic unity in the church and society--a movement for which Jesus prayed and which Martin Luther King, Jr. expressed as "the beloved community." We gather monthly for a potluck and informal discussion. Our previous activities have included book studies, sharing from our own histories, and supporting activities for MLK day.
