Convergent Christianity: A Pull Toward the Center
Christianity is a forward leaning religion. We believe that with the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, the old age is ending and the new age is coming. That the future is breaking into the present. We treasure the past, but press into a future rushing toward us.
Throughout church history, the Jesus movement has morphed into new forms. In the New Testament era, Jesus left behind a messianic movement among the Jewish people. Within decades, Christianity became a global religion, and became the Gentile path to YHWH via the influence of one ornery Pharisee, Paul.
