Within the A2 Vineyard Youth Ministries, we get excited about seeing young people connect with Jesus. Actually, you might say it is why our ministry exists. What you’ll find inside the youth room doors may seem like your typical youth group. You’ll find tons of kids catching up on each other’s weeks, a throw-down of video games, flying ping-pong balls, and adults hanging out in the midst. However the twist to our youth ministry is that it remains highly connected with the rest of the community. In our efforts to exemplify Vineyard values in the youth ministry, we strive to connect students as active participants in the community rather than to perceive them merely as “Christians in training”. We’re all in training!
Youth Director, Nigel Berry, works closely with the volunteers, interns, and staff to create an environment that is welcoming, accepting, fun, and Christ-centered. In our efforts to provide our best, all adults who serve in the youth ministry are screened and trained as part of our extensive abuse prevention program. We are excited to offer a variety of programs that help students to begin and/or deepen their relationships with God. We believe it is a privilege to serve the youth and families of the Ann Arbor area. Parents are always welcome to stop in and see what we’re up to!
Here's what's available:
Sunday Morning Celebrations:
(5th - 12th Grade) Meet each Sunday at the 9:30 and 11:00 celebrations, from after opening worship through the end of the service. Students find space to worship, build relationships, and explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
Mission Trips, Retreats & Special Events
These are available for middle and high schoolers throughout the year. As youth mature we also make room for them to serve alongside adults in several ministry areas from the multi-media to worship team!
