In A Nutshell…

Our Congregation

  • We are a multi-generational, multi-ethnic community
  • We offer programs, ministries, and small groups for men, women, couples, young adults, youth, and children of all ages
  • We are committed to, and heavily involved in, serving the community in the greater Ann Arbor area

Our Celebrations

  • We worship on Sundays at 10:45 AM
  • Celebrations are ~75 min., featuring live worship, communion, and a sermon
  • The dress is casual. Visit our welcome table for a free welcome booklet.

Our Beliefs

  • Our words and actions are grounded in five core values about Jesus and the Bible
  • We believe in an inclusive, centered-set approach to doing church
  • We are a border blending movement, learning from Liturgical, Pentecostal, Evangelical, and Social Justice practices

Our History

  • The Ann Arbor Vineyard began as a small group of University of Michigan students, gathering in a dorm room on Sunday mornings for worship in the mid 1970s.
  • After two decades of growth, a church home was purchased in Milan in 1994.
  • After outgrowing that space, a 26,000 square foot building that formerly housed the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre was purchased and the Vineyard Church of Ann Arbor was born!
